Along with their day to day activities at the Centre, 9 team members are participating in the 2021 Summer Wolf Run on 3rd July, which will take the team through a combination of runs – off-road running, mud runs and obstacle runs and our brave team will be taking on this hardcore 10k challenge to help to raise funds towards the upgrade of the dog socialisation, play and exercise area, including the purchase of brand-new Astroturf for the dogs to enjoy their social activity and agility exercises.

Kate Perry, Animal Care Assistant said “At our Centre in Coventry, we are always aspiring to do more for our animals, going above and beyond to meet their needs. Renovating our off-lead areas will be an incredible change for the better, improving the welfare of dogs whilst in our care. The off-lead areas are a great, safe place for our dogs to express themselves freely. They can play with whatever toys they wish, enjoy scent work, learn agility and much more! The areas are vital to the happiness of the dogs in our care. Our aim is to raise £15,000, to replace the existing bark chip with artificial grass which will be more cost effective and it is kinder to sensitive paws too!”
