Volunteering at the Centre

PLEASE NOTE – we are open to applications for various volunteering positions but please bear in mind there is a waiting list for the animal centre roles due to popularity.

With a variety of roles available, volunteering at the centre is an incredibly rewarding experience.  Here are just some of the volunteering opportunities available:

You will see all aspects of animal rescue in this busy customer service role, which involves lots of multi-tasking.  We do ask that you are able to commit to a regular shift each week.

Centre Maintenance
Do you have a passion for gardening?  Do you enjoy DIY and seeing a job well done?  We would love to hear from you!

Auction Volunteer
Help us raise vital funds for our center by helping our auction team check items, list items and liaise with members of the public for collections. Full training is provided.

Animal Care
We occasionally recruit volunteers for this popular role, which encompasses all aspects of caring for our cats and dogs.  We do ask that you are able to commit to a regular shift each week.

Animal Fostering
We are always looking for new foster carers to help us look after the hundreds of animals that come into our care every year.  Volunteering as a fosterer is extremely rewarding and is ideal of you would like to welcome an animal into your home without the permanent commitment of adoption.

We are looking for volunteers who can spare some time by taking our animals to the vets, collect stock and donations in our van. You will need a full UK driving licence and be a minimum of 21 years of age.

If you would like to know more about any of the above roles, please contact: volunteering@rspca-coventryanddistrict.org.uk
