Volunteering at the Centre

Please note that due to Government guidlines regarding social distancing we are only able to have a limited number of people on site and as such we are unable to take on any new volunteers at this time.

With a variety of roles available, volunteering at the centre is an incredibly rewarding experience.  Here are just some of the volunteering opportunities available:

You will see all aspects of animal rescue in this busy customer service role, which involves lots of multi-tasking.  We do ask that you are able to commit to a regular shift each week.

Centre Maintenance
Do you have a passion for gardening?  Do you enjoy DIY and seeing a job well done?  We would love to hear from you!

Animal Care
We occasionally recruit volunteers for this popular role, which encompasses all aspects of caring for our cats and dogs.  We do ask that you are able to commit to a regular shift each week.

Home Visitors
Volunteers who support in this vital role are responsible for checking the homes where our rescue pets are being rehomed.  Full training is provided.

Animal Fostering
We are always looking for new foster carers to help us look after the hundreds of animals that come into our care every year.  Volunteering as a fosterer is extremely rewarding and is ideal of you would like to welcome an animal into your home without the permanent commitment of adoption.
