Volunteering and fundraising at events

Our volunteers play a huge part in the planning and running of our events.  These are quite ‘hands-on’ roles where you can be involved in many different ways supporting the fundraising team in raising funds and promoting the work of the RSPCA Coventry and District Branch within the Coventry region.

You could be a group of friends, work colleagues, students who have a passion for animals – dogs in particular – and who love to be outdoors or someone retired or only have a few hours available once or twice a year! What ever your situation, we would love to hear from you!

Public Collections Assistant
This is a very sociable voluntary role and would preferably consist of a 2-hour shift on a weekend, either/or Saturday and Sunday.  This role would require regular commitment but is extremely rewarding in the knowledge that you are raising funds to support the work of the RSPCA Coventry and District Branch. This role could be standing or sitting for the 2 hours and may include talking to members of the public about what the branch do and occasionally selling raffle tickets.

Fundraising Events Assistant
We are looking for volunteers who would be able to assist at our Charity Events raising much needed funds for the RSPCA Coventry and District Branch, whilst also obtaining knowledge of organising events. This will involve setting up a site ready for an event and clearing away after, it may involve running a stall or assisting on one, taking entry money, directing members of the public and much more!
